As the only non-Spanish speaker, my guide made sure to explain everything to me privately while the rest of the group enjoyed the Spanish commentary. She also showcased traditional Salta costumes and played the local recorder.”

She made such an effort to explain to me and the other non Spanish speaker about the area/history and everythijg we needed to know and was very kind with helping in general. Yes with this trip you do spend a long time on the bus but the scenery and stop points are outstanding. Would say maybe the lunch break doesn’t need to be 2 hours. Would rather have started 7.30/8am and had a shorter lunch than started 6.30am, but this is minor and I had a nice day.”

“Very well organized experience (Tiamar Tour Agency), the minivan is comfortable and the guide (Fernando) seems to be very well prepared. He provided us very detailed information connected with a good storytelling, good humor and politeness. He tried to organized the tour avoiding the others big tour groups where in many stops we could visit less crowded places. It’s a very long trip but with many stops where we could see how beautiful and amazing are the “Quebrada de las conchas” route. The wine experience in Cafayate city it’s a skip in our opinion. “Great route to discover but poorly organised and staffed. Bus was 1h late, guide was very unmotivated and microphone system terrible so we could not hear what he was saying when speaking. 2 places we were supposed to visit were closed. Lucky the route was worth the visit”

“We did 3 trips, so it was a lot of time in the van. The second two were in the same direction so there was some repetition, which we knew. We didn't realise however that there was an optional tour to the 14 colour hill as noone from the agency had mentioned it, despite us going in every day. This was a little disappointing.
